Proliant 6000 OS Installation woes
Dear all,
I am a student in Scotland, undertaking a project for my final year of University. I have bought an old Proliant 6000 to use as part of my project, and cannot get it to work.
When I boot it, it tells me "Raid array not configured" - and "No SCSI drives detected". I was under the impression that I had to boot from the SmartStart CD rom - tried this, and get an "El Torito" error. Has anyone encountered this before?
I would appreciate any help at all! What do I need to do to configure the drives, so I can install an OS? I've tried bootable diskettes from the SmartStart ISO- but I get a "non system disk" error.
Tearing hair out at the moment!
Many thanks in advance for your help!
