Proliant 800 Not Keeping Time when powered off
My cmos batter failed so put in a external replacement battery 160274 as suggested by the Compaq. I also followed the pin placement on jumper E2. Rebooted and configured the time in the conf utility menu.
The system now recognizes my SCO-5 but when I shutdown the server but it doesn't keep the time going after rebooting. The time that comes up when its rebooted is the same date/time when it was shut off.
Any suggestion would be most appreciated.
