Proliant 800 P14 date/time reset to BIOS build date/time

What is causing the clock to reset to the date and time of the Bios when the Windows 2000 Server OS is safely shut down and the system is powered off with on/off/switch.

We had a service center replace the soldered on CMOS battery to resolve the problem. When we got the system back it was still resetting the clock to the BIOS date (11/7/2000) and time (11:14 PM). The service center said the time was correct in DOS when they tested it after replacing the battery.

Any suggestions?
