Proliant ML350 G3 and Smart Array 641
Hi,
I'm trying to use 2 disks in raid 1+0 configuration as logical drive 1 (boot controller).
All is working correctly if putting the controller into PCI slot 3.
But when I try to use that controller into PCI slot 1 the controller is not recognized by BIOS.
How can I solve the mistake, I've more servers and all others is working with controller into PCI slot 1, I'd like to have all servers configured in the same behaviour.
Many thanks for support.
Regards,
Andrea Fiorino

Re: Proliant ML350 G3 and Smart Array 641
If assuming System ROM Up to Date, if you get chance: Clear NVRAM from F9, and connect 641 to Slot 1 (top in tower, right slot for Rack model), make sure it seat tide enough, don't connect any cables. If not Detected see if any NIC will be detected and you can access to advance settings Ctrl+S or Ctrl+A you might have Slot Problem, how about in any other server.
