Proliant ML370 G4 SCSI

I added 2 more scsi hard drives to the server. What is the easyest way to configure it so that the sever sees the new one's. I have installed Smart Array Config utility. But it keeps asking for a password and the password(s)we use does not work.

This is my first time working with scsi and scsi configs.

Re: Proliant ML370 G4 SCSI

Hello DByrne,

1.Try password as the password.

2.If it does'nt work,install latest ACU.Guessing its Windows here's the link, http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/25481.html

3.Once ACU is launched, create a new array Array B and select the 2 new disks.

4.Highlight Array B,choosed the raid level and create a new logical volume.

PS: If you want these 2 disks to be part of the existing array and the array has OS,then its not possible.
