Proliants freezes
We have a problem with Windows 2003 non SP1 and a few different Proliants, BL20 and DL380. Some of them sporadicly hangs, ie they respond to ping but nothing else. They run HP 7.20 agents and Citrix PS3.0. They are installed with Altiris unattended scripts, not images.
I cannot find anything on this on the net. We know some servers have quite a bit of CPU usage during daytime but have also seen hang situation on a non-active server. I would suspect the HP software versions perhaps combined with missing Win2003 sp1 but cannot find any other who had these problems.

Re: Proliants freezes
Is all Firmware and System ROM up to date? 7.2 might not that good for SP1 due to Date of release, as 7.30 or even 7.40 would be more appropriate
Try that first

Re: Proliants freezes
It not SP1 installed. BIOS/ROM is updated but not agents software in windows. Is it at all possible that the servers may freeze because of hp system drivers/software??
