OK, just to conclude:

MSA20 acts as the controller and uses the SA-6402 only as the host controller.
MSA20 has its own array accelerator and cache.
In fact, MSA20 manages hdds, arras and logical drives by itself.

There is no way how to use the cache on SA-6402 (host controller) to improve the performance of MSA20.

It looks like I will not be able to 'configure'
the SA-6402 without connecting some hhd(s) to it. If I don't want to do this, I will have to live with warning messages after each reboot.
