Two beeps, a menu screen and then Windows 2003 Server.
Dear Users,
I have recently taken delivery of HP Proliant DL 365 Servers. The OS, updated drivers and updated firmware has been applied to the first installed server, since it came from the factory with no OS. The server log view has no warnings or error messages. However, there two short beeps, a menu with one of the options press F9 to enter system maintenance after which Windows 2003 Server Enterprise x64 edition loads from the hard disk drive. Please the server was installed using SmartSmart CDROM and everything worked like magic. Any suggestions greatly appreciated in advance.
Thanks,
Eric.

Re: Two beeps, a menu screen and then Windows 2003 Server.
This is normal. All my proliant servers do it. I've taken it as a notification that it's posted and booting. Particulary handy when you're booting servers without a screen or watchin iLo.
