Warranty check of Ultra 320 Scsi HD
I need to check warranty of some Ultra320 SCSI Hard Drives.
I have a lot of number and the warranty check page says to insert for hot plug drives the security code.
What are the correct part number and serial number for warranty check ?
For example on one drive I have these printed on white label
Model # BD07289BB(
Part # 365695-07
DPN 3R-A6179-AA
CT 29BB801CXSC1M1
MODEL MAW3073NC
PART NO CA06550-B10100DC
SER NO DAL1P5A00AUK
GPN 271837-008
Also there is a small blue label with :
SN PHJ544B0FJ
and on the hot case:
SPARE 289042-001
Also, what is standard warranty for these units ?
Thanks a lot
Pietro

Re: Warranty check of Ultra 320 Scsi HD
this is the product no. 271837-008
but all serial no's give message :
>>>
Serial number PHJ544B0FJ
Product number 271837-008
Date of warranty check 05 Aug 2009
The product or part you entered is not eligible for warranty. (214)
<<<
as far as i know for support, disks are NOT seen as seperate devices. They are seen as part of a storage system or part of a server on wich the support contract is registered.
so for warranty you may also need to enter the system productno and serialno.
drawback : when a disk in a server is replaced, no change in registration takes place (server keeps same warranty even with newer disk).
