Will not boot up

I'm working on a HP Pavilion A775C I used a boot wipe cd to wipe the hard drive clean and then went to install Windows XP in the middle of loading Windows stalled. I tried to shut the system down and boot from the cd again and to no avail. The system will not boot up there is no signal to the monitor. I can hear the computer running but there is no bios no splash screen and of course Windows doesn't even attempt to load..the system will not even boot from the cdrom anymore either. Please help help help help
