Xenserver on hp proliant microserver gen8

Hello everybody i am reading about what kind of virtualization software I can install in that server. So Hp said that vnware esxi is compatible. Vnware esxi is xensever itself but with advance features so before I buy server. I want to know if I can install xenserver that is a open source in hp proliant microserver gen 8

Sorry but Citrix XenServer and VMware vSphere ESXi aren't the same product. Both are Hypervisor but definitely not the same thing.

If you are still interested you can check about supported specific HP Servers against various Citrix XenServer versions (like latest 7.0, 6.5 and so on...) looking here which is the Citrix XenServer Hardware Compatibility List (HCL) portal.

Play with filters (Citrix XenServer Product Version, Server Vendor and Server Form Factor) to look for other combinations. Other searches are possible too.
