eva 8100 main cabinet fc loop connection

I am about connecting 0c6d expansion to fully populated 2c12d eva8100. The question i want to ask is that does the storage I/O modules and device port need to be connected to specific port number on the loop switch? The existing loop switch is model 852 (Ad557B). I understand which loop each of the enclosures should be connected to but does the port number on the loop switch really matter?

Please kindly help with your experience .
