MSA1000 connection Issues
Good Day, I hope I'm posting to the right area. I have a Microsoft 4 node cluster running 2003 server. The servers are DL380 G5 and I have one MSA1000 Raid. My problem is 2 of the servers have lost connection to the MSA. I ran the ACU and the MSA is missing Node A and B, nodes C and D are fine. I have replaced the following: both FC cards on the DL's the Transceivers on the MSA and tried a new Fiber cable. Also replaced the 8 port FC switch still no luck. Now on Node B if I restart the server I can connect to the MSA this will last for about 1 to two hours and then it it lost. I ran the ACU diagnostics when I was connect and it show OK, When it was gone it shows error MSA not connected. What makes this really hard, it is at a remote site (white Horse and the Tech there is not a lover of HP) I really need help not sure where to go next. I have a system here in Ottawa that I can pull the Controller out of the MSA If need be.
Dan
