Virtual Connect (VC) v4.45 has been released
VC 4.45 firmware has been released to Web, and it has following enhancements:
- Support for 10GBASE-T SFP+ transceivers supported on all native VC SFP+ interfaces (Please check release notes for number of transceivers limitation that applies to individual VC platform)
- Support for LLDP on FlexNIC downlink port (For ACI dynamic path provisioning and has a new CLI to enable LLDP)
- Support for LLDP MIB on downlink ports
- Support for Mozilla Firefox 37.0.1 and 38.0.1
From what I see the biggest enhancement is support for 10GBASE-T transceiver. Be sure to look at the release notes to get all the details. Our engineering team both hardware and firmware worked overnights to make it happen in VC 4.45.
The AMS DCA team has come up with excellent Cookbooks and videos for VC/ACI best practices.
