DL380 G4 Packaged Cluster & RSO
I am installing a DL380 G4 Packaged Cluster and the Recovery Server Option.
The firmware of the SA-6i controller (except for the latest version) allows enabling of the RSO. The communication through the MSA500 G2, however, could not be started.
With a fresh patched installation of MS Windows 2003 the RSO monitoring could not be installed. I then installed the RSO monitor on a separate Windows 2000 Server and transferred the registry entries to the 2003 Server (except for the "LEGACY_RSO" keys). After rebooting the RSO Agent service starts but reports an error connecting to the SA-6i driver. The primary RSO server displays "no link" to the standby.
Any suggestions?

Re: DL380 G4 Packaged Cluster & RSO
RSO is not supported with Windows 2003 and the MSA500 G2 and Smart 6i

You should consider using Microsoft Clustering Services
