CIM and CA Spectrum Authentication Failures

We are running Spectrum from CA for Network device monitoring. Recently we have begun to model HP servers in to our Spe3ctrum platform and immediatly began to recieve "Authenitication failure" Traps from these devices. We have added the local loopback address, sniffed the line, confirmed Community Strings etc..etc.. without resolution. One thing that has recently come to light is SNMPv3 and its possible use by Insight Agents. Does anyone have nay advice on this? Is their a way to 'disable' v3 if it is used? Any advice on this would be gratly appreciated.

Re: CIM and CA Spectrum Authentication Failures

In addition to this info:

Under the Security tab in SMTP we have-
-Specified the community string with Read/Create options
-Accept SNMP packets from the appropriate place

Under the Traps tab:
-We specify the Community name with the exact same IPs as the "Accept SNMP packets..." option under Trap Destinations

I've tried reinstalling SNMP, the HP agents, upgrading the HP agents, turning off the Foundation Agents -OR- turning off Send Authentication Trap helps, but obviously, we want SNMP running.

Please help!

Were you able to resolve this issue and what was the problem? I am experiencing the exact same problem.
