Data Collection Report & Version Control Agent
I am running Insight Mgr 7 SP2. I ran the latest Proliant Support Pack and updated the System ROM on one of our servers as we have a random Bugcheck Error. HP Tech suggested we update the Proliant drivers etc.
When I run a data collection report the ROM version is still the old one. I did not install the version control repository but when I look at the System Mgmt Homepage for the server in Version Control agent the correct versions show.
Why aren't the new versions reflected in the data collection report from Insight Manager?

Re: Data Collection Report & Version Control Agent
Try running Identification and Data Collection Task again. It may take a while to update the IM 7 database tables especially if there more number of devices.

Re: Data Collection Report & Version Control Agent
Can I assume that because I have not set up a repository and have not installed the VCA on the servers CIM cannot determine the correct versions? This would be why the data collection report is inaccurate?
I am currently running CIM from my laptop as only I monitor it.
