Database Install

When i try to upgrade from Version 1.1 to 2.1 then i receive the message: Cannot conntect to database server. You may retry or change server name.
I have checked the password for the sa user twice. The Sql Server 7.0 is running.
Does anybody have a idea.

You might make sure you are using TCP/IP to connect to the database.
