Device type

I have added our SAN switches to Insight Mar EX , and manually set the device type to switch. Every morning however, the device type changes to "other".
Is there anyway I can set these devices to "switch" permanently ?

Yes, check the 'Lock' checkbox while manually adding the device and XE won't change the type.
