Re: BL460c ILO2 problem after firmware (ROM flash) upgrade to 1.70
Hi,
I cannot run the cp011257.exe (1.11.1.2) without an error and still getting hpqilo2 warnings (error 57 mailnly) I rebooted server with Smartstart 8.50 which includes PSP 8.25. which I was advsied to use to remedy something else...
I really need to update all my blades, firmware, PSPs etc and I'd like to use smartstart which seems to be the most thorough way, but I cant rely on the some of the drvers within. Are HP going to re-release smartstart or current PSP and how do I fix the error 57 please?

Re: BL460c ILO2 problem after firmware (ROM flash) upgrade to 1.70
- update to iLO 2 v1.78 or later
- update the Windows Management Controller Driver to 1.11.2.0 or later
Updating one or the other is not a complete fix.

Re: BL460c ILO2 problem after firmware (ROM flash) upgrade to 1.70
The system has been rebooted since the upgrade of the driver.
Anyone else still has problems? Looks like a major issue to me.

Re: BL460c ILO2 problem after firmware (ROM flash) upgrade to 1.70
What are your symptoms now, still getting both the event log errors and ASR/Blue Screen reboots occuring?
Check Device Manager to validate that you do in fact have the latest versions actually installed. VCagent and Support Pack may show you do have them installed, when they may not be.
Also check the versions on your nc373i adapters and nc373i Virtual Bus Device. I had two BL460c's blue screen on me this weekend because the adapter driver and virtual bus driver where not at the same level.

Re: BL460c ILO2 problem after firmware (ROM flash) upgrade to 1.70
I am currentloy experiencing the issue with the HP Proliant BL460c G1 Blade.
I only have one of these servers and have had the server doing reboots and what not. Luckily at night when no one is here.
Just wondering if anyone has had a succesful fix for this?
My Blade enclosure firmware is... 2.41 Feb24 2009 and my Blade is at 1.70 dec 02 2009.
It is running windows EBS 2008 if thats any help?
regards
Matthew Smith
