iLo 2 w german keyboard

Hello,

i've come again into the situation where i need to use ilo2's remote console with a german keyboard.

I've given up on the Java thing (the document quoted here as a solution occasionally starts with "install English windows", which is not possible).

The same document claims that the Integrated Remote Console (i.e. the activeX control) works with any language keyboard, as long as host and client keyboard match.

Wich is all fine and dandy, as long as you don't use that obscure unix pipe symbol. Which doesn't work with the activceX thing at all. (Did I mention I really need that key?)

So - what can I do?

You can try setting one of the iLO hot keys to be the pipe symbol. Not the most elegant solution but if it works.....
