ILO3 BUG - cant put a "v" (lower case) into name

hi

with ILO3 (confirmed on DL380G7) with newest FW (1.16) i cant put a lowercase v into name. it simply doesnt accept it. Capital V works

Hi i've seen that problem on bl460c G7.

Workaround is to set the ILO name from ILO CLI.

*Do a ssh connection to ILO.
*cd map1
*cd enetport1
*set SystemName=vvvvv

Done.

Only problem is when you save the config via web interface the v will dissapear again so make other config first before doing this workaround

Known issue, workaround is to use a capitol V. Will be fixed in the next firmware release

That makes sense! - Who would want to have a lowercase v in their servername anyway!?

Ps. All our virtual server hosts has "vsh" in their name :P
