Proliant DL360 G4 not starting
Hi all,
We have just moved the server to a new rack and, by mistake, we have pluged a netwrok cable on the ILO port. Started the server and it shows nothing on the screen. have tried to ping ILO on 192.168.1.1 but I have no answer at all.
have removed the internal baterry with the same result.
the server tries to start and verifies the two drives pluged in. Then after lits both activity leds on harddrives and stays there forever.
Any ideas??

Re: Proliant DL360 G4 not starting
Questions
1.Is the Monitor connected properly to the server ?
2.Is the Monitor common for all the servers present in the rack ?
If the server is a DL360G4 server the following explanation holds good.
The IP address 192.168.1.1 is a Diagnostic Port IP address which can be used only with the blade servers(20p,25p,35p etc) and
this IP address is not supported for DL360G4 server.
