For testing, we move the monitor back to the motherboard and we then got video on the remote console, but lost it at the monitor.
We need video on both the remote console and the monitor. We've done this with RILOE boards in other servers, but not the 570.
We loaded the latest firmware on the card (And bios as well), did a factory reset on the card, etc. Not a firewall problem as the video does work depending on where we plug it in and the behavior is the same on the LAN as well.
Thoughts? All 3 are acting the same way.

Re: RILOE - ML570 G2, no video on monitor depending on where I plug it in
PCI slot 6 for ML 370 G2 Machine.
Have you plugged the RILOE-II card into PCI slot 6 ?

Re: RILOE - ML570 G2, no video on monitor depending on where I plug it in
to correct a few things:
M.S.: Pat has an ML570 G2, you are referring to an ML370 G2.
And are we sure it's a RILOE-II card? It could be the RILOE-I. I've attached a picture of the back of the cards, showing the differences. Pat, can you confirm which RILOE card you have? According to the support matrix, the ML570G2 is not supported by the RILOE-I.
http://h18013.www1.hp.com/products/servers/management/riloe2/server-slot-matrix.html?jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN
And you need to use slot 7 in an ML570 G2
Also, although the matrix does not say you need to do it, have you tried disabling onboard video for the server, using the DIP-switches? You had to do this for ML330 and ML350, but I don't think this is necessary for the ML570G2, as it does not have a server-feature board.
Regards,
Stephen

Re: RILOE - ML570 G2, no video on monitor depending on where I plug it in
Just to clarify things here
ML 570G2 supports RILOE-II.
PCI slot number is slot 7.
CURRENT SCENARIO
RILOE-1 card is being used with ML570G2.?
MY INPUT
RILOE-1 card is not supported on ML570G2
Pat : Do you have RILOE-1 card or RILOE-II card ?

Re: RILOE - ML570 G2, no video on monitor depending on where I plug it in
We have not tried disabling the onboard video since it didn't say to in the matrix for the 570. Next time we get an outage, we'll try that. Any other thoughts?

Re: RILOE - ML570 G2, no video on monitor depending on where I plug it in
RILOE-II firmware version 1.21 ,1.20 and 1.16.
RAM: 3.5 GB
Processors : 4
We have been to get video on both monitor and remote console.
Looks like there is somekind of a hardware issue which may be causing this problem. This problem may not be related to RAM or Processors Configuration.

Solution1.WITH Video connector plugged into RILOE-II
VGA
Questions
1.Is the video missing on both the remote
console and Monitor ?
OR
2.Is the video missing only on the monitor
side and you are getting the video on
the remote console side ?
or vice-versa
3.Please send me the snapshot of the
RILOE-II event log when this problem
happens.
Click on "Remote Insight event log" tab
in RILOE-II browser Interface and send
the snapshot.
2.WITH Video connector plugged into
Motherboard VGA.
