Re: 3Par monitoring - No HP Document
For HPSIM 3Par is another SMI-S Enabled device and works the same way as others.
3Par Supports SNMP and is SMI-S compliant. you can make use of both the avaiable protocol to
monitor the storage device with correct SNMP Community String and WBEM Creds.

Re: 3Par monitoring - No HP Document
Hi Tushar,
Thanks for your assistance.
But i need some document/link from HP to know the steps to monitor 3PAR devices.
Also no document is available for steps to configure other devices like CiSCO & Brocade switches and Left Hand storage nodes to properly monitor from HP-SIM.
It will be helpful if you can provide few links/docs regarding the steps.
Regards
Manish

Re: 3Par monitoring - No HP Document
Please find the document attched for configuring 3PAR CIMOM.
After the cimom is configured, discover the device in HPSIM using the IP Address.

Re: 3Par monitoring - No HP Document
Hi,
I have written a blog article on the steps on the 3PAR to enable monitoring inside HP SIM. I had to do this for several customers, works fine...
