Your standard SNMP is probably configured to send Traps to HPSIM, you don't need the ILO to send them as well.
You'll might want the ILO to send any alerts it generates directly in case the Server itself is unavailable.

The nice thing about iLO forwarding is for DMZ servers, or servers that you cannot get directly to for whatever reason over the LAN interface.
Typically the iLO interface is setup on a subnet a little more accessible and then you can use that to forward messages off.
Otherwise, disable iLO forwarding of messages.
