Used to be HPE included what we called a "Junk Pak Kit" with every new server. Mostly starter kits for things we didn't buy and applications for software that was obsolete/
It also had, if you remember, that Broadcom NIC adapter update that would brick your etire server ....
... but deep inside the DVD was the system management software that was quite useful.
I have a DL385 G10 Plus server running LINUX 9 and I'd like what the used to call the "system health monitor" software that allowed access to the stats, etc. from the web browser and had then email info for system alerts and also the on-0line 410I array monitor software.
Where can I find a link to the stuff?

Re: DL 385 G10 Insight Software
Hello,
You may try the HPE Systems Insight Manager for Linux and install the Insight Management MIB update kit for HPE Systems Insight Manager for Linux/HP-UX. Also you may try the Agentless Management Service (iLO5, iLO 6) for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 Server for server management.
You may also try HPE InfoSight for Servers. You may refer to the HPE InfoSight for Servers Getting Started Guide for more information.
Regards,

Re: DL 385 G10 Insight Software
Thanks - but this is what has been vexing me ever since HP & HPE split:
The link you sent on insight software links to https://support.hpe.com/connect/s/product?language=en_US&ismnp=0&l5oid=489496&cep=on&kmpmoid=4171638&tab=driversAndSoftware
which in turn links to https://support.hpe.com/connect/s/softwaredetails?language=en_US&softwareId=MTX_20e341a472014e558643e24ca8
wich in turn links to https://downloads.hpe.com/pub/softlib2/software1/pubsw-linux/p1021889198/v59910/hpsimlinux.html
which links to http://h18013.www1.hp.com/products/servers/management/hpsim/dl_linux.html
Which reads This Site Can't Be Reached
At which point I have pretty much lost the will to live.

No the problem is not solved.

SolutionThe problem has been solved.
Here is a list of software that does not work and/or does not even provide the utility we require *akk suggested by "official" HPE employees:
SIM_7.6_Z7550-96286.bin
sum-9.1.0-11.rhel9.x86_64.rpm
sum-10.1.0-8.rhel9.x86_64.rpm
IP381.2022_0930.2.iso
P52581_001_gen10spp-2022.09.01.00-SPP2022090100.2022_0930.1.iso
P52582_001_gen11spp-2023.02.00.00-Gen11SPP2023020000.2023_0130.21.iso
ssa-6.10-14.0.x86_64.rpm
And then last night at 11pm we found the answer on another section of the HPE web site:
The SMH software set is not supported on Gen 10 and Gen 11 systems and no substitute software is available or planned
Total Incompetence
Gen 10 and Gen 11 Proliant Servers
Or, in the words of my customer last night:
"Nevermind. We'll order our own server from Dell, please get this piece of junk out of our rack."
