HP AMS or Agents on ESXi?

I see offline bundles I can download, but can I install either the AMS or full agent set using 'Configure or repair agents' within SIM?

After configuring the task, it just says:

Installation of Agentless Management Service ....................... [SKIPPED]  
It is not supported on the system.

But why manual downloads then? Looking for clarification more than anything. If supported, why can't I deploy from SIM?

Nodes are running Vsphere 5.1 (ESXi 5.1.0)
