HP SIM 4.1

I have a few questions about HP SIM 4.1. what HP SIM 4.1 functionality will be lost by disabling the HP Insight Web Agent on the client computers? Also, how do I setup detailed threshold settings (CPU, disk, etc) for each server so I can be emailed when those thresholds are crossed.
