HP SIM 6.0 hpsmdb Backup/Restore & Upgrade procedures
I need a procedure with correct syntax to backup and restore the hpsmdb database for HP SIM 6.0 on an HP-UX CMS. Also would like a complete set of upgrade instructions with correct syntax from HP SIM 5.3 to 6.0. Thanks.

Re: HP SIM 6.0 hpsmdb Backup/Restore & Upgrade procedures
Thanks for trying, but I had indeed found the whitepaper, which is outdated, although useful as a starting point for getting a pg_dump syntax that didn't error, but the restore is a no-op. The pg_dump syntax in the 6.0 install guide you referenced is wrong, and the manual pointed to by website in the install guide for the restore has nothing about restoring in it.
