HP SIM 6.2 - OK to apply Win2K8R2 SP1?
Hi - here are the details of my SIM setup:
Operating system: Windows Server 2008 R2
Version: Systems Insight Manager 6.2 - Windows
Build version: C.06.02.00.00
Build date: 2010-09-23 13:00
Patches: HOTFIX62_001.jar Wed, 03/11/2010, 18:45 GMT
Is this version of SIM compatible with Windows 2008 R2 SP1?

Hi Phil,
I don't know whether it is officially support, but I just built a SIM 6.2 server this week (I was running 5.3 on a different server) and applied Windows 2008 SP1, and I have not had any issues.

W2K8 R2 SP1 isn't listed in the 6.2 support matrix http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c02537423/c02537423.pdf
However it is supported with the 6.3 release that went live on the web today.

Thanks for the info... I'll probably hold off applying sp1 for a few months.
