HP SIM doesn't see ESX 3.5.0 & ESXi 5.0.0

I upgraded from HP SIM 6.X to HP SIM 7.1, everything works fine except my EXS server won't pop up in HP SIM anymore, they are displayes as unmanaged systems.

Server Hardware : HP DL580G7

When you try to logon to the System Management Homepage on port 2381 it works fine and it will read out everything perfect from SNMP. When I use a tool like snpwalk to read the snmp traps out from a server it works fine, I can export it to a txt file.

The only thing I see an error in is when I try to register the latest mib files from VM, I run into a coupe of errors during the mcompile command.

Downloaded the latest mib files from VM https://my.vmware.com/group/vmware/get-download?downloadGroup=snmp_mibs

Copied them in the mib folder from HP SIM, VW diliverd also a suggested order to follwo to prevent any lookup errors during the load of the files. I follow these.

When performing ( an example from the error below )

C:\Program Files\HP\Systems Insight Manager\mibs>mcompile VMWARE-TC-MIB.mib

HP Systems Insight Manager Mib Compiler, Version 5.0.2.1
Copyright (c) 2003-2006 Hewlett Packard Corporation

Compiling VMWARE-TC-MIB.mib

Processing import file: SNMPv2-SMI.mib
Line: 55: Error defining object: expected a label, found reserved symbol MODULE-
IDENTITY
Processing import file: SNMPv2-TC.mib
Line: 9: Error defining object: expected a label, found reserved symbol TEXTUAL-
CONVENTION
Processing import file: VMWARE-ROOT-MIB.mib
Mib Compilation completed successfully

After this command mxmib -a xxxx.cfg ( an example from error below )

C:\Program Files\HP\Systems Insight Manager\mibs>mxmib -a VMWARE-VMINFO-MIB.cfg

IMPORTING CFG  VMWARE-VMINFO-MIB.cfg
Error reading CFG: MIB node has no parent  Line: 75.
AN ERROR OCCURRED EXECUTING THE COMMAND

Usage:
       mxmib -a <mymib.cfg>
       mxmib -f <cfglist.list>
       mxmib -l
       mxmib -t <mymib.mib>
       mxmib -d <mymib.mib>

After this, I restart the SIM service and look into the SNMP traps, some traps are empty, some has information but the device is still unkonw device...

What I'm doing wrong, and why the mib file give errors..

Could you provided the output of the discovery / indentification of an ESX system.

HP SIM - Options -> Indentify System

select an ESX system
