HP SIM Linux and SNMP

I'm having an issue with SIM 6.2 and Suse 11 Linux servers with SNMP.  I have the hp snmp agents and hp-health rpms installed and all agents are running. When I do the discovery/identify system on the Suse server everything looks good. But, when I check the server in SIM and click the Health Status the values for Linux OS, Network and System all contain a "?". Other items such as IDE, SCSI, iLO etc are all show green. When I place my mouse over the "?"  A message pops up saying "The current state can not be determined". What would cause this ?

It's a status that is calling attention to the fact a particular item sub-system may not be reporting. Could be 1) the particular subsystem may not be supported by the agents or if they are may not provide a status 2) but could indicate a problem hence the ? it doesn't know. Doesn't mean it won't alert on those things, the status reporting may not be that granular.

It's easy enough to think of it as a template of common components found in common with the SMH - typically the status seen on the system page in SIM would correspond to the SMH status since that is where it gets the status.

That does help some. I noticed in /var/tmp/messages the error "subsystem request for sftp failed, subsytem not found". I did not know that SIM even required sftp. I can't find any documentation saying sftp is a requirement. However, when I enter the command sftp on the managed server it does respond, so I'm still at a loss as to why this error occurs.
