HP System Insight Manager Service not installed?

I was upgrading my SIM server from 4.2 SP2 to 5.0 version, and at the end of the installation, I received an error message indicating "HP System Insight Manager Service is not installed? Why?

I'm running Windows 2000 Advanced Server with SP4, and SQL Server 2000 SP3.

Were you getting the error message on the HPSIM install shell or was that a pop-up message?
If that is an error in the HPSIM install shell then reset the password without any special characters and try upgrading.

It was a pop up message at the end of the install before server reboot.
