We are retiring a storage management system. How does one remove the associations to it? It no longer has access to the EVAs it use to manage. Yet, when I run the Identify operation SIM still shows it as associated with the EVAs. As a workaround I thought to try deleting the system altogether and then rediscover it *but* I'd have to delete the EVAs too. Btw, this won't orphan the EVAs; they are associated to multiple storage management systems.

Re: In SIM, how to disassociate EVA with management system
Heavy-handed but it got the job done. I'd rather just disassociate the EVAs but this will do.
I suppose the alternative would have been to delete the EVAs and then run identify on the new storage management system.
