SIM 5.3 only reports ip address in the system name column
SIM 5.3 reports ip address in the most of system name column
The DNS configuration is fine on my NICs.
I launch many times the task/tool "Identify Systems" but I never have the system name updated by its real system name (instead of IP).
(The problem concerns Windows devices, or ESX servers...)
I don't know how I can force a refresh or debug this part ?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: SIM 5.3 only reports ip address in the system name column
Yes, this is the case but the "system name" value stay with the IP value.

Re: SIM 5.3 only reports ip address in the system name column
Use nslookup to resolve the IP Address to name and then again to resolve name back to IP Address.

Re: SIM 5.3 only reports ip address in the system name column
Yes exactly, I have the same problem.
Even so, you try and retry the "identify systems" function, the problem is the same.
(nslookup direct and reverse are OK)
Thanks for your help.
