System Health Status-List of Triggered Events?

How do I know specifically, what types of "events" will actually set off the email alerts. I have only seen a very basic description in the manual.

For instance, Warning - The system has a potential problem or is in a state that might become a problem.

This seems to be very generic. How would I (or you) go about getting additional details on what could potentially be causing the alert or problem? Does some sort of list exist that I could reference?

Thank you!

Most, if not all, are based on SNMP traps. You can examine the various MIBs in SIM to see what each trap is set to use for a "alert" value.

For example, the cpqhost.mib file, the "cpqho2nicstatusfailed" trap will issue a "Major" event.

To view MIBs:
Options - Events - SMNP Trap Settings...
