System UP/Down alerts and Hardware alerts configuration on SIM 5.3

Hi,

We have an requirement that we need to monitor only the system UP/Down time and Hardware Errors from HP SIM.

How can i configure those specific alerts?

hi,

afaik you can only filter the events by severity so you may want to only select critical and major events, notification however is much more tailorable - go through the help on automatic event handling or go straight to options - events - automatic event handling and have a look.
