Ahhh, my program license diskette is bent!

I'm trying to get Windows NT 3.51 so i can upgrade to server 2000 but my license diskette is broken, i have the Serial number labels and the diskette can someone direct me on how to get another?

wow, are you behind the curve.

have you tried contacting microsoft license support at 888.571.2048 ?
There have been Innumerable people who have helped me. Of course, I've managed to piss most of them off.

Umm yeah. . The floppy is a compaq part Microsoft doesn't even have these.....

i'm sorry, i didn't mean to appear rude. i was just commenting on how long it's been since i've seen a nt3.51 install.

since this is an OEM copy, microsoft license support would just brush you off, so that makes my last post moot.

which leaves you with the option of calling compaq hardware support and requesting a replacement part. that could get expensive if you don't have the original server serial and a support contract.
