Hewelett Packard 700/96 Terminal reset

How do I reset the 700/96 terminal. I have done this in the past and it is a combination of keys held during power on but I can not remember the combination.

Can anyone help.

power off, then power on while holding the 'd' key. the console beeps initially when powered on, then after a few seconds a lower pitched beep sounds. release the 'D' key when you hear the second beep. this will restore the console to default values.
What are the chances...
