HP J1474A 8port console switch, Remote I/O port
Hi.
Could somebody shed some light on the purpose of the "Remote I/O port" (with RJ-45 connector)? Newer console switches seem to have a similar port, only denoted by "A" instead of "Remote I/O port". I browsed through the manuals (for J1474A and also newer console switches), but could not find anything informative as to what it's for and how to set it up.
