IloAmplifier is reporting AMS status: Not Available

On an iLo 4 running on a ProLiant DL380 Gen9, the iLo is reporting the AMS status as unavailible.  The system is running Red Hat 7.7.  The hp-ams rpm is installed, active and running.

IN the Management menu under SNMP Settings;  Agentless Management is selected.

What other things need should i look at?  The iloAmplier has all the information in it you get except the type of info the AMS agent forwards from the OS.

1. Update iLO 4 firmware and Agentless Management Services to latest revision.

2. If firmware upgrade is not possible or still issue persists, check by reset iLO 4.

Steps to reset iLO 4.

i. Login to iLO web console.

ii. Navigate to Diagnostic page

iii. Click on Reset button under Reset iLO option.

Re: IloAmplifier is reporting AMS status: Not Available

Please check if following message is displayed with the Linux systemctl command:

AgentX master disconnected us, not reconnecting. Please restart hp-ams.service.

Check by restart the hp-ams services. Open the command console and type the following to restart the hp-ams server:

systemctl restart hp-ams
