Power Manager unable to communicate with UPS

Hi I have serveral Win2000 servers. All have a T2200 XR UPS attached via a comm port. I have installed PowerManager 4.1 on the servers. However when attempting to communicate with the UPS during setup I get the message "Failed to Open Communications Port" error. I get this on all of the servers that I have tried. I have checked that the T2200 XR is supported. Can anyone help???
Also, in Device Manager the UPS show up as "PowerWare UPS". Is this okay? or is this the root of my problems.

Re: Power Manager unable to communicate with UPS

If your server is a Proliant, go to computer setup and disable the ILO (it detects communication on the serial port and send out bytes that interfered with Power Manager). Set baud rate to 9600
