I inherited one of these UPS's and it appears to be in good condition. It has two battery packs. The unit powers up from battery, but does not output AC. I cannot plug the unit in as a do not have a L6-50 outlet. I can have one installed, but don't want to do so until I know the UPS is good.
What I really want to know from the manuals is if there is a specific power up sequence for the unit. I found the instructions for a different HP UPS and it needed to be connected to AC in order to power up correctly. I need to know if that is the case for this unit.
TIA,
Joe
