evaluation vs official release
Hi,
The SGLX 11.18 evaluation media is different from the official release right ? I suppose I can't use it to start a production cluster with the 90day period while waiting for the real licence, am I right ?
Thanks

Re: evaluation vs official release
Shalom,
Evaluation releases have limits. Usually between 30-90 days.
It will stop working for you after the evaluation period is over.
You are correct that you need a license to use the product after temporary license expiration.
You also may need a software support agreement to get updates.
HP has also declared SGLX 11.19 is the last version of SGLX they plan to release.

Re: evaluation vs official release
An evaluation license is for non-production use. There is no support for an evaluation system. There is a relatively easy upgrade from evaluation to production. If I remember, it is in the readme of the eval ISO. Your sales person can contact the Serviceguard team for further assistance.
If you are not already, you should be aware that Serviceguard for Linux is being discontinued. Details are at http://www.hp.com/go/sglxnews
