Serviguard failed with cmcheckconf
Hi All,
I tried to install HP MCS 11.18 patch level 05 on 2 system Linux Rhel5.2 64bits on 2 DL380 G5 when i issued cmcheckconf system returned error below:
Non-uniform connections detected,
lccse01 eth1 172.19.96.247 successfully received from lccse02 eth0 172.19.96.203
but lccse02 eth0 172.19.96.203 did not receive from lccse01 eth1 172.19.96.247.
This could be due to heavy network traffic, or heavy load or routing configuration on lccse01.

but lccse01 eth0 172.19.96.202 did not receive from lccse02 eth1 172.19.96.248.

First - this is the Linux forum.
The problem is likely two nics on the same subnet from each node. I don't think that is allowed. Is there some reason why you are configuring it that way?

Hi all,
Thank you for you response, you are right the problem came from the subnet, my network team gave me the same subnet for 2 NIC,now they gave me 2 distinct subnet and cmcheckconf works well now.
