AiO 1200R : SnapShot delete doesn't work.

Hi,

I have an HP AiO 1200r working fine, i have about 20 CIFS shares for 1.5TB total space used. I have scheduled snapshots on those shares and i can see them from "Previous Version" TAB from my client across network. Problems are :

1. When I take a SS at 1:00 PM from my client i can see 3 SnapShots, at 1:01PM, 1:03 and 1:08 (indicated time are examples); and it's like this for every share. Why isn't there only one version? Maybe because of the size of the share (too big)?

2. I delete SS from MMC but from my client I can always see and access to previous version that has been deleted. How is that possibile? How can I permanently delete old SS?

3. I cannot find SS retain time : i only want to keep online last version; when it tooks today's SS it also must delete automatically yesterday's. How can this be managed?

Here application and system Logs. I also attach a ScreenShot of Previous Versions TAB.

Today's SS has been taken af 1:30PM but from network i can see 4 "Previous Versions" at different times (few minutes between each other). Yesterday's SS has not been automatically deleted.

I have to disable SS schedule.

I had to install a specific patch for Storage Mirror "false" license expiration date. Nothing else.

did you install latest service release 6.9 ?

Hello everybody,

i've just upgraded AiO sw version on "backup" AiO Storage 1200R and problems seem to be solved.

I have created and delete snapshots, from CIFS "Previous Version" i can see correct SS info. I have scheduled SS and everything seems OK. Next week I'll upgrade Production environment and post the result.

For point 3, still cannot find retain time, I think it's not possibile on this appliances.
