Re: Failed add new cage for my StoreEasy 1850
Hi,
Good day.
It looks 7 digit segment display not taking Enlcosure number correctly.
Get the HPS report capture and ADU report after adding second enclosure.
First check with single domain cabling and make sure all the enclosure detected on SSA.
https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c05252635
P1 on the disk enclosure I/O module is treated as the SAS in port.
P2 on the disk enclosure I/O module is treated as the SAS out port.
In single-domain configurations, one cable path is created between the host, the primary disk enclosure, and additional cascaded disk enclosures.
In dual-domain configurations, two cable paths are created between the host, the primary disk enclosure, and additional cascaded disk enclosures.
Single domain is cascaded cabling - https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c04220021
Page no 36 for the reference.
If further details needed, get the HPE support and log the case.
Thanks.
BR,
Srinatha Joshi
