Failed to Extend Volume, event 1558
I am not able to add more share folders to Hp Proliant Storage Server using Hp all-in-one Storage System Management Snap-in. There is plenty of unallocated space to add folders.
Logfile hpmsapcivds.log is so big (1,47 GB)that I am not able to read it. Can it be deleted?
Error message from event log:
Failed to extend volume of size and type in disk array . (status: )
For additional details, please see log file: .

Re: Failed to Extend Volume, event 1558
Did you ever determine if the hpmsapcivds.log could be deleted or cleared? Currently our log is at 12GB and I really need to reduce the size to something managable, and then deal with whaterver is causing it to grow.
