HP Storage Mirroring 5.2 for File Server
We have HP Storage Mirroring Software installed on Exchange 2003 and on Windows Storage Server 2003 in the source side and a DR Exchange 2003 along with File Server in the target side.
We were testing DR Failover and failback, exchange works perfectly. For file server there is no problem with failover to the DR side. When we tested file share access we found that the product works as per the requirement. Since we were testing the DR changes were made to the file shares which included adding files and deleting files. Once we wanted to failback, we noticed that the mirroring is happening from 0. Upon checking the logs, we discovered that there is a log in the Replication Manager which says "Unable to use change journal because both source and target conditions wer not met" and from then on it just started replicating all the data.
